Traditional Goan Prawns Curry

Ingredients: 

2 Tsp. oil
1/2 cup shelled prawns
1 1/2 cup grated coconut
2 Tsp. chilly powder
1 Tsp. turmeric powder
1 medium onion 
1 small size ball of tamarind
1/2  Tsp. coriander seeds
5-6 peppercorns
1/2 cup more grated coconut
Salt to taste

Method:

Grind coconut, chilly powder, turmeric powder, tamarind,coriander seeds, peppercorns to a fine paste and keep aside.

Cut onion fine, put oil in a saucepan, add oinon, prawns, 1 Tsp. above grind paste, and 1 cup water, cook for 5minutes. then mix 3-4 cups of water with the remaining grinded paste and salt to taste.

Extract thick milk out of other 1/2 cup grated coconut. Add this to the above curry and cook for 2-3 minutes.

And your prawns curry is ready...
